One of the most anticipated winter events at the Lake of the Ozarks is upon us! Eagle Days 2018 is taking place on January 6th and 7th. This annual event is a great opportunity for the entire family to get out of the house and enjoy some quality time together. Come out to be a part of this fun and educational experience! All About the Event:

Learn all about the majestic creatures as they gather around the area. It's a weekend full of fun and learning at the Willmore Lodge, Heritage Elementary, Bagnell Dam Access, and Osage National Golf Resort. Stop by one or all of the locations to get the full eagle experience! Don't miss out on this family-friendly activity at the Lake of the Ozarks! Canine Cannonball at the Lake of the Ozarks

If you like water, dogs, and great food and drinks, we have the perfect event for you! Eagle's Nest Realty, Inc. is here to provide you with all the details for Canine Cannonball - a fast-paced, fun-filled family event that you won't want to miss.

About DockDogs

DockDogs is a national organization that hosts dog contests all over the country. These aren't just your average dog contests, however. Forget the "best dressed" and "best kisser" categories - the dogs that participate in DockDogs' competitions are true athletes, competing for longest jumps, highest leaps, and other bragging rights. DockDogs hosts competitions all over the country, including right here at the Lake of the Ozarks. The local competition is known as Canine Cannonball, and it's happening this coming weekend.

Hosted every year at one of the Lake Area's favorite waterfront restaurants, Canine Cannonball is a fantastic event with fun for the whole family. Even if your dogs aren't participating in the competition, they are still welcome to come watch the fun with you on the outdoor decks. (They must be leashed at all times.)

In order to accommodate the event schedule for the event, Dog Days will open at 10:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday (an hour earlier than they ordinarily do). Canines all of all skills levels, from amateurs to pros, will compete for first in a four primary categories: Speed Retrieve, Iron Dog, Big Air, and Extreme Vertical.

At Canine Cannonball 2014, a world record was set right here at the Lake of the Ozarks - Griz (trained by owner Tony Lampert) set the world record for Extreme Vertical leap when he soared to an impressive 8'9"! Fun Fact: Griz beat his own record a month later at the Libertyville Dog Days of Summer event in Libertyville, IL, when he leapt 8'9" high.

Though admission is free for the whole family, they will be accepting donations to benefit Dogwood Animal Shelter. This no-kill shelter is located in Osage Beach and is always looking for loving homes for their dogs (and cats). They will actually have a few dogs available for adoption at the event.

Laurie's Enchanted Village Of Lights

The holiday season is a magical time of the year no matter where you live, but the Lake of the Ozarks truly comes alive during Christmastime. There are countless family activities held every year all over the Lake during the holidays. This week, Eagle's Nest Realty wanted to make sure you and your families had the chance to enjoy one of the Lake Area's most magical Christmas attractions - the Enchanted Village of Lights!

There are a total of four holiday light displays at the Lake of the Ozarks, but the Laurie's Enchanted Village Of Lights is by far the biggest. In fact, they're working on becoming the largest drive-through holiday lights event in Mid-Missouri! 

They owe their success to the many local businesses and community organizations that support the holiday park by sponsoring special exhibits. Families who have lost a loved one also support the park by sponsoring "Memorial Boards." With varying levels of sponsorships and participation opportunities, everyone can get involved in the holiday fun.


Free Holiday Fun For Families Of All Ages

The best part about this holiday spectacle is that admission is free to everyone. Donations are accepted, but the city of Laurie does not charge anything for families to drive through their holiday park. 

The park is open every weeknight from 5:00 - 9:00 PM and every weekend from 5:00 - 10:00 PM, through January 2nd, 2016. The Laurie Fairgrounds are located at:
