All About Lake Race 2017

Living at the Lake of the Ozarks offers a ton of opportunities for entertainment! One of these events are coming up - Lake Race 2017. If you love fast boats and racing, this event is just for you! Enjoy the beautiful Lake as the race boats speed around the course, fighting for first place. Here at Eagle's Nest Realty, we know how much fun this annual event at the Lake of the Ozarks is. Festival of Speed

Thursday June 1st from 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm at Osage Beach Parkway West
Osage Beach Parkway (west of the Grand Glaize Bridge) will be closed for the street festival. Come check out the speed boats, classic cars, motorcycles, vendors, and food tents. Bring your entire family out - there will be piggy races, pony rides, and a dunk tank for the children in your family as well.

Meet & Greet Street Party

Friday June 2nd from 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm at the Bagnell Dam Strip
For race fans and boat enthusiasts alike, you can enjoy a unique experience checking out the race boats up close and personal. Walk around the historic Bagnell Dam Strip and enjoy all the sights and sounds of the gathering. Come out and meet the racers and view the race boats, for a unique and exciting experience!

Lake Race 5K Run / Walk

Saturday June 3rd at 7:00 am at Beavers at the Dam
Participants of the 5K will start at Beavers at the Dam and run below the dam up to JJ Twiggs, and back down the strip to Beavers. A cash bar is available at the finish line, as well as a raffle. Registration for the run begins at 7:00 am and the race begins at 8:00 am.

Official Lake Race & Awards Ceremony

Saturday June 3rd all day at the Bagnell Dam Strip
Powerboats from all across the nation will be at the Lake of the Ozarks to compete for first place. View the race by land on Bagnell Dam, the Celebration II, or at Beavers at the Dam. The race course will start at the 0 mile marker and circle back around at the 3 mile marker. Come out and see these speed boats as they zoom down the water for a day filled with excitement!

Props & Hoses Poker Run

Sunday June 4th at 10:00 starting at Beavers on the Dam
Bring your boat out for an exciting poker fun the day after Lake Race. With a number of water front restaurants participating, you can have an entire day of fun out on the Lake of the Ozarks. A $20 raffle ticket is available at each location for a 50/50 drawing at Redhead Yacht Club at 4:00 pm. End the weekend in style by participating in this poker run!

Memorial Day Fireworks at the Lake

With Memorial Day Weekend right around the corner, it's time to solidify your plans. With a number of firework displays at the Lake of the Ozarks, it can be overwhelming deciding which display to attend. If you're looking to enjoy the beautiful fireworks all weekend long, there are a few different places you can attend each night. May 27th at 9:45 p.m.
On Saturday evening, view Bear Bottom's fireworks by land or water at the 38 mile mark. A spectacular display can be found at the resort, for your entire family to enjoy. Be sure to arrive early as parking is limited.

The Inn at Grand Glaize

May 27th at Dusk
View the fireworks at The Inn at Grand Glaize for an evening of beautiful fireworks. You can view the display from water at the 1 mile mark of the Glaize Arm or by land at The Inn. Come out for an evening of spectacular fireworks over the Lake of the Ozarks.

Tan-Tar-A Resort

May 28th from 8:30 - 9:30 p.m.
A breathtaking fireworks display can be found at Tan-Tar-A Resort. If you're a resort guest, you can view the display from the property, otherwise it's best to watch the display by water at the 26 mile mark. To enjoy this spectacular display, be sure to come out to see the display on Sunday.

Tropic Island Cruises

May 28th from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.

For a unique firework viewing experience, reserve your spot on the Celebration Cruise today! The ship will board at the Grand Glaize Bridge location and set sail for a sunset cruise and fireworks at Four Seasons, at the 13 mile mark.
